Hart voor Transport provides fulfilment (also spelled fulfillment) for webshops across the Netherlands and beyond. Your stock is kept in our warehouse in Hillegom, between Haarlem and Leiden; where your webshop itself is based does not matter. We handle inbound stock, storage, pick & pack, shipping and returns. Small webshops are welcome: there is no minimum order volume and no set-up fee. Because we have our own couriers, orders in the Randstad can reach your customer the same day.

International shipping and larger volumes are priced in the quote. Above 500 orders per month we make a custom price.

A webshop with 120 orders a month, one and a half items per order on average, stock in eight shelf bins and ten returns. Excluding shipping and packaging, fulfilment then costs about € 3.03 per order.

If you sell a lot in the Randstad, your customers can have their order the same day. Something the large fulfilment centres rarely offer.
Large or heavy products
Furniture, garden products or palletised goods don't fit in a parcel locker. We deliver them with our own van, to businesses as well.
Business customers and shops
Besides webshop orders, we also supply shops and business customers, per carton or per pallet.
How we get started

You tell us what you sell, how many orders you expect and how you want to ship. You receive a quote within one working day.
- Agreement
Rates, liability, insurance and notice period go into a fulfilment agreement.
- Inbound stock
You deliver your stock to Hillegom, or we collect it from you. We count everything and send you an overview.
- Shipping orders
We connect your webshop to our order processing system. New orders come in automatically and we pick, pack and ship them.
Clear agreements
- Your stock remains your property. You can collect it or have it delivered at any time.
- Liability, insurance and stock differences are set out in writing in the agreement.
- Transport by our couriers is covered by carrier liability.
- Cancel monthly, and one invoice per month listing every handling per order.
- Everything is set out in our fulfilment terms, including the data processing agreement for your customers’ data.
Frequently asked questions
What does fulfilment cost at Hart voor Transport?
Pick & pack starts at € 2.25 per order with one item, plus € 0.40 per additional item. Storage starts at € 5 per shelf bin or € 15 per pallet space per month. Shipping, packaging and returns are charged separately. There are no set-up fees and no fixed monthly charges. All prices exclude VAT.
How many orders do I need?
There is no minimum. A webshop that is just starting out with ten orders a week is welcome. You only pay for what you use.
What is the cut-off time for same-day delivery?
Orders received before 12:00 on working days are usually delivered the same day in the Randstad by our own couriers. PostNL or DHL orders received before 19:00 leave our warehouse the same working day. Later is possible by arrangement.
How do my orders reach you?
We connect your webshop to our order processing system, for example from Shopify or WooCommerce. New orders then reach us automatically. Prefer to do it manually? You can also send orders by email or as a CSV export.
Can you ship large or heavy products?
Yes. Furniture, pallets and other shipments that cannot go as a parcel are delivered with our own van or box truck. You then pay the trip price, from € 85 excluding VAT.
How do you handle returns?
Returns come back to Hillegom. We check every item, put sellable items back into stock and report damaged items with a photo. This costs € 2.95 per return.
Which products do you not store?
No dangerous goods, no products that must stay chilled or frozen and no live animals. If in doubt, we discuss it beforehand.
Who is liable for my stock?
Your stock remains your property. Liability, insurance and the handling of stock differences are set out in the fulfilment agreement. Please also check whether your own insurance covers stock held at an external location.
Am I tied to a long contract?
No. The agreement can be cancelled monthly. If you stop, you can collect your stock or we deliver it to you.
