What is international transport?

International transport means your shipment crosses a national border, usually within the EU. Hart voor Transport drives daily from the Netherlands to Belgium, Germany, France and beyond with one courier and no transhipment. You pay for certainty, speed and a single point of contact — not for intermediaries.

Prices and conditions

All rates include 21% VAT and are calculated as a fixed price in advance. The price is visible upfront, with no surprises afterwards. For B2B shipments to other EU countries, VAT may be reverse-charged where applicable.

Which countries do you drive to?

Daily to Belgium, Germany and France. On request: UK, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic. Feel free to ask.

Is my shipment covered abroad?

Yes. International runs fall under the CMR Convention (a treaty, not an insurance policy). For valuable shipments a higher liability limit is available on request.

How does customs work for the UK and Norway?

For non-EU destinations we arrange the CMR consignment note and handle the export declaration. You provide an invoice/packing list; we take care of the rest.

What does a run to Germany cost?

From €345 for Düsseldorf (190 km). Each additional kilometre is roughly €1.65–€1.95 depending on the vehicle. Toll roads + Maut charges are included in the quote in advance.

Can I book an urgent run to Paris?

Yes. An urgent run Haarlem–Paris typically takes around 5.5 hours non-stop with one courier. For urgent jobs we apply a modest surcharge; for longer runs we recommend booking early.

Do you drive abroad at night?

Yes. We run many international jobs overnight to arrive in time for a morning delivery. Night driving is available for medical, production-critical or air-freight connections.

What exactly is CMR?
