Airfreight runs on tight cut-off times: the AWB has to reach the airline before the flight departs. A missed cut-off usually means a 24-hour delay. An airport cargo courier works with AWB integration and forwarder procedures and knows which gate belongs to which airline — the courier does not simply drive to Schiphol Plaza.

Which vehicles do we use?
For AWB documents a car (fast and nimble on airport grounds). For cargo freight a van, depending on volume. For pallets a box truck; for large airfreight pallets (ULD format) we work with partner couriers from our network.
Liability and confidentiality
Carried under carrier liability. For valuable airfreight (electronics, pharma, art) a higher liability limit is available on request. Airfreight-specific cover (at fleet or per-trip level) can be arranged in consultation.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a Schiphol Cargo pass?
Yes. For Schiphol Centrum-Oost (Cargo area) and the Schiphol-Rijk business park our couriers have access to the forwarders' buildings and loading docks. We do not operate airside (vehicle on the apron); the airport uses its own parties for that.
Can you handle AWB pick-up for outbound shipments?
Yes. Provide the AWB number, airline (KL/AF/LH/DL etc.), cut-off and shipper location. We collect, deliver to the cargo terminal before cut-off, sign for receipt and email proof to you.
How fast can you be there for an acute cut-off?
From our service-area depot we are typically at Schiphol Cargo within 15 minutes. Response time after a call is usually within 60 minutes. In total around within 60 minutes from booking to arrival at the cargo terminal. For extremely last-minute jobs that is often just achievable.
Do you work for KLM / Air France cargo?
Yes. For the KLM Cargo Terminal (Schiphol Centrum-Zuid) and for AF operations via forwarders. Crew documents, spare parts and catering specials are part of our service.
Can you deliver import shipments last mile?
Yes. After arrival at a forwarder at Schiphol we collect and drive directly to your final address — often cheaper than the forwarder's own last mile for the Randstad.
What about customs documents?
For non-EU flights export documents (T1, T2, EUR.1, packing list) are required. We drive between your customs declarant and the cargo terminal to move the correct paperwork. For intra-EU flights there is no customs.
What does AWB pick-up and drop cost?
Fixed price upfront by car via our national network. Elsewhere in the Randstad €55-€85. For pallet cargo with a box truck €175+. AWB handling and cut-off integration are included in the base rate. The price is confirmed before departure.
